Haha nice

Cool tune man. I was a bit suprised to hear part of Fade To Black but it sounded good. I really like the drums in your tunes they are always kickass. The riffs as always were cool and well that's all I can really say. Good job man.

Dude...

That was fucking awesome your tone was great and your drums sounded a lot better. Did Bad_Man send you the dfh samples? Anyway man from one slasher movie fan to another great job.

pitchblak responds:

Glad you liked it man.Ive been on this song for a few weeks now.I layed the drums down with Beatcraft then Layed them down with fruity loops and decided that the F-Loops sounded better.Hell, every song is an experiment i guess.Glad you dig it man.Thanx for the review man.

Yeah

Your distortion has gotten a lot better since the original. Actually you've improved a lot in all the aspects of recording. Keep it up man.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Yeah, thank jeebs for the better distortion. Thank speedy for all the help too...heheh. Cheers for a cool review\m/

Hmm

Not bad. It sounded like you didn't have the chance to really belt it out because I'm gueesing somebody else was home? The drums were really good I liked them a lot. The guitar sounded pretty sweet you had some cool riffs. Overall good job man the only advice I could give you I think is record your vocals when nobody else is home so you can let loose.

Chrizzly responds:

Hahahah, yeah you're right somebody else WAS home...and i didn't wanna make them pee their pants...I'll save the next vocals for a home-alone-time...so that the vocals can make ppl shiver to the bone...Yeah im starting to get the hang of programming drums now! Glad you liked those as well! Thanx a lot for reviewing, man, hope to hear more from you!

Nice

I like your guitar tone. It has just a little bit of distortion to it to give it a little crunch. The drums seemed a little quiet but for the most part I liked them. The rhythm guitar sounded good I like that it wasn't drowned out. I like both versions but this one is my favorite of the two because of the great lead playing. Hopefully you'll submit some more tunes soon.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks a lot man! I prefer the instrumental also.

Don't worry dude, I've got a lot of new pieces in the works. Stay tuned...

Good

At a few parts your voice reminded me of Rod Stewart haha not sure if that's what you were going for. The guitar sounded great I have no complaints about it. You have a decent voice I'm a bit suprised. The vocals seemed a bit lost in the mix though so maybe tweak those a bit. All around a good Mother's Day tune.

TritoneAngel responds:

Okay, remind me to stab you in the heart for aligning me with Rod Stewart. :)

Thanks for the review buddy.

Hahaha

I missed so many damn songs while I was moving now I have a shitload of tunes to review.

The song was probably your best from the sappy rock tunes you've submitted. I have nothing better to do at the moment so I'm going to do a bit of nitpicking. The closed hi-hat in the beginning was just a bit too loud I thought. Your vocals were great but just a little quiet and a bit distant at times. With some tweaking to the mixing this could sound a bigger.

Guitar was great the clean and distorted riffs fit the song well. The solo was good you are getting better. All around I liked it a lot.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

haha, thanks man. I did turn down the closed hi-hat for the beginning, but then couln't hear it throughout the rest of the song. I'm not real happy how the build up on the drums sounded just before the chorus either. Sounds too "fake" to me. But every song is a learning experience. I appreciate the awesome reviews, too. Nothing but aggression left, so I leave this sappy song in the dust. Thanks again, man!\m/

Cool shit

I liked the riffs a lot. The drums could use a some tweaking but nothing to drastic. The guitar was a bit bassy you could turn that down a bit to give more clarity though it was still nice and clear. Overall it was a cool loop.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Yeah, I liked the riffs alot too. I want to expand this tune..but..I wanna get some production issues cleared up first. Plus, I wanna find a bit cleaner distortion so the picking of the riffs are slightly more audible. It seems when I export the drum track as a wave rather than mp3 out of beatcraft, it picks up distortion. If I use the samples in FL, then the export is clean. Then the mixing in cool edit, will sound great...as long as it is played in the cool edit player. I don't know man. Maybe I need a different recording and mixing program. Or tweak with the settings and put out a few more test tunes, but write down every step I took, instead of trying to remember them. Anyways, sorry for babbling. Thanks for the review.\m/

Nice

I'm guessing it's from a videogame but I don't recognize it if it is. Maybe it's because I just woke up...who knows. Anyway if you wrote it great job very catchy and overall had a good feel throughout the song. Whether it's a cover or an original kickass tune man.

mhb responds:

thanks! yeah it's from double dragon 2 at the end when you fight the shadow master. i'm glad you like it.

Hahahahaha

For a second I thought you were taking a more serious approach to this tune. Thank god you didn't. I still can't believe Paul Gilbert and Billy Sheehan were part of this song. Anyway I got a kick out of it so you get a decent score.

mhb responds:

lol. yeah dude it's a pretty bad tune so i just tried to make it fun. thanks for the score man.

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
