Not bad

Sounded pretty good.Did you use a keyboard or did you use FL or something.Overall not a bad job man keep it up.

Weapongod30 responds:

Thanks, actally, I made it in GarageBand. Thanks anyways!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!

This song kicks ass. Were you using Drumkit from Hell?I love the intro it's heavy as fuck then you go into some more awesome riffing. This is just an awesome tune the quality is really awesome as well.I'll say it again kick ass tune man I'm saving this one for a while I think.

rocker206 responds:

Wow Thanks for the review man! I'm glad to see you liked how this new tune turned out. I'm quite satisfied with the new drumkit. Thanks again!

Wow

I'm suprised I liked this one.Usually I hate synth guitars but in this one they weren't as annoying.I really liked the drums and just the overall feel of the song.Great job man.

Sweet

Great cover man.The drums and rhythm guitar kicked ass but I really liked the leads. They were played perfectly it seems and you tone kicked ass.Great job on this cover you've been busy lately you've already submitted three songs.Keep it up fucker.

FlameMesial responds:

Cheers Dood! I definitely think that this was better than my Port Town attempt, I was sure I played none of that song properly!

Cheers for the flawless review Dood! Keep it up fucker!

Cool shit

Nice job man.I heard a bit of hiss and crackling but none that really stands out.I think you could have had better tone. You know some more balls in it but it worked I guess. The playing was great and the drums were cool.Great job.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks for the review. Yeah, like the reviewer beneath you said, the recording quality on this one was... less than optimal. Sort of learning the recording process on the fly here. Always good to hear from you.

Wow

This is awesome I can tell why it took a while. What gear were you using because this is HEAVY?It would be awesome if you could make this into a full tune but either way awesome job my friend.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks speedmetal! Yeah, this one definitely was from my Schecter -- adapts really well to the Mesa settings on my amp, with its mahogany body and set-neck.

Guitar: Schecter C-1
Amp: Line 6 Spider (I)
Mic: Shure SM-57
Audio Interface: Tascam US122
Recording Programs: Total Recorder, Cubasis

I actually have parts of this song extended into a full thing, but I wanted to crop it for the loop. I'll see if I can get a full song version together.

Always good to hear from you.

Cool

I couldn't hear the leads very well over the rhythm guitar but I could hear them well enough to know they kicked ass.Cool tune man.

rocker206 responds:

Next time I'll make the lead a bit louder. Thanks for the review!

Hahaha

This is great man I'm glad you're submitting again. The song kicked ass.The drums were cool and the rhythm was great. The lead was a little loud but that might be because of my headphones.Overall a cool little christmas tune and a good way to make a comeback.

FlameMesial responds:

Thanks Speedmetal. After all this time I've kept you, Gore and the gang waiting you guys never compromised on your genourosity.

Yes, the lead was loud, but it has a difference when you record and listen using speakers, and give it to headphone listeners - try it through the speakers, Dood.

Fucking cheers as fuck.

Nice

Sorry I didn't review this earlier.Overall great playing I was suprised there weren't any big screw ups(hope you don't take offence to that).Your tone was pretty good and about as close as you'd get to Steve's probably.I didn't like the sound of the backing track drums but they didn't really take away.Good job on this cover hope to hear some more from you.

Hahaha finally

Took you a while to do it but man this is great.Your best sounding cover yet.All you need is some bass and real drums. The guitar was recorded perfectly not to loud and not to quiet.I didn't hear any pops so I would say over the time I've signed up at Newgrounds you've gotten a lot better at recording.Great job man I'll be looking forward to your next cover.

Oh yeah and get a bass!!!!!!!!!

GoreBastard responds:

Thanks a hell of a lot mate! Yeah, I'm happy as shit with the quality on this one.

The next cover will be another F-Zero one called Fire Field. The only thing that pissed me off about uploading this song, is that it knocked my favourite GoreBastard track onto page 2. The one called "Enter Death". Now it will never be heared because nobody looks on page 2 :-(

Haha, cheers alot mate!

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
