Way to quiet

Not nearly loud enough and it isn't very smooth but I can tell your a beginner so it's alright.Keep practicing hopefully you'll get better at recording.Might wanna get some new equipment.Keep playing guitar and hopefully you can post some cool songs when you do.System of a down aren't that bad of a band.

Thanks! Yeah, I was using a built-in computer mic, and forgot to set the volume to super loud when exporting. Sorry. ^_^' I'm only 14 though, and this was my first submission. It was really only a test.

Thanks for reviewing! ;D

Cool tune

Iliked it the only problem was the drums kinda drowned out the guitar in some spots. The drums were awesome and the guitar was just as good but fuzzy.I'll be looking out for more by you so keep em' coming.

Metalholic115 responds:

This as well as Engage is my favorite submission. The problem I found was the fact that the bass was too quiet, so the guitars sounded crappier. Next time. Thanx for the review speedmetalmessiah.

Kinda fuzzy

But it still kicked ass.I liked it the drums were good and the riffs were pretty heavy another good job.

Metalholic115 responds:

Thanx for another kick ass review speedmetalmessiah!

Hmmmm

It wasn't bad.The beginning of this sounded a lot like the end of the tapping sequence in eruption. Not to many mistakes but they are expected when you tap without getting a crap load of practice in.Overall good job and keep practicing.

I would suggest when you tap from now on get a bandana and a velcro(sp)strap roll up the bandana put it around the guitar neck lightly over the first fret so as to mute it then strap the velcro over the bandana to hold it in place. You then have a string dampener to mute the strings your not playing on.So long as you don't do any open fret tapping it really helps clean up the sound.Wow that was long.

Metalholic115 responds:

Like I said in the other response, this was inspired by Eruption. I only recorded this when I was screwing around, and trying to get out some frustration from recording. This recording is old school(a year ago or so as of when I'm typing this).

I'm gonna have to at least try out that method to clean up the taps.

I appreciate your reviews bro.

Not bad

It could use some polishing but it wasn't all that bad.It was really clear but there was some background noise.Really just make it smoother and it'll be pretty good.Hope this helps.

Thanks! My first review! i hoped someone would review, so I would have more room to talk. :P

I used a bad recorder, internal computer microphone. It gave a lot of backgroudn noise, which caused it to be pretty bad. Also, It was only me on guitar. I'm only 14, so I'm not the best. Thanks for reviewing though! :D

Keep em reviews coming!

Woooooooohhhooooo!!!

Great cover man this song kicks ass and when are you gonna be able to add voclas to your stuff that would make them so much better.Even without the vocals I really enjoyed it man.Now all you need to do is cover Behemoth that would fucking kill:-)

GoreBastard responds:

Lately I've been thinking about just taking my computer (laptop) to my car, driving somewhere secluded, and recording the vocals in my car, far away from any people. I don't know if my computer could handle running Cubase with just the battery though.
Cheers for the review, the original is track 14 on the World Downfall album. That whole album is heavy as fuck.

Fuck yeah

Shit man when the heavy part kicks in at the begining sounded perfect.Although when the solo came in I couldn't hear it so well but still a cool tune.

GoreBastard responds:

RRROOOAAARRR!
Thanks mate, this tune is just a remake of the opening riff from my "Rot in Fucking Hell, Pope" song that I did, except this one is pure fucking violence and the other is mellow as fuck. Cheers for the fucking ace review mate, and I know what you mean about the solo. Sometimes I suck at recording!!! Hahahaa
:-) <-- Happy motherfucker!

6:19 thats a long one

Fuck man I love that intro lead. The whole intro is fucking great man.I'm listening as I type and I'm really liking this. Those drums are great and the heavy part kicked in and it too sounds awesome all of the lead playing is really great and enjoyable. Some of the later heavy parts would have sounded great with a couple of pinch harmonics thrown in but there cool none the less. This is a really good song man and it's getting a five in my book.
What was that noise at the beginning?Kinda sounded like you were tapping a glass slide on the string.

GoreBastard responds:

DUDE! THANKS FOR THE FUCKING ACE REVIEW!!!
I'm not sure myself, but I think some of the music in this was influenced by music from the film Labrynth... Hmmm? I don't know...
Anyway, this is something I've had in my head for a while and I finally got off my lazy arse and made the drums for it. Thanks alot for the 5. The wierd sound at the beginning is my plec hitting the strings at the very bottom of the guitar. I don't know what it's called because I'm thick as shit, but it's right at the bottom of the guitar where the strings end. If you know what I mean... Shit look how much I've typed, that's a lot of writing!
Cheers dude.

REALLY SLOPPY

Igf you clean it up a lot and throw in some wah you'd probably have a coll Kirk solo going but yeah it was pretty sloppy.

Not quite

For most of the solo you played the exact same thing which did take away from the piece. After the solo it's not to bad but you should have played more varied riffs behind the solo.It was alright.

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
