Very nice

Where did you guys record this? It sounds very good. Also what's your bands name? I liked that clean intro riffs you have it fits really well. The drums were great he can play pretty damn well. The guitar riffs were cool too. The vocals were good they sat nicely in the mix this time and your voice(I'm guessing it's you?)fits the song pretty damn well. All around you guys did a great job on this.

We recorded this at Alumbnia Records (Local to me). We don't have a name yet but if you can think of a good one i will credit you for it. Yeah Roger is our drummer. He has been playing for 12 years so he is pretty good. Yeah those were my riffs, thanks. No thats not my voice, i wish i was that good but i'm not. I'm just a 16 year old kid caught in a world of metal.

Fuckin' hell

That was awesome man the final mix is really perfect. I don't think I'd change a damn thing. The tune is pretty dark and fucking depressing haha. Yet it still can fit Christmas. The guitar was great the tone and the playing sounded really sweet. I really liked the solo as well. Bad_Man really nailed the vocals too. T

he only thing I can really suggest is make a rock version haha.

Nice

Pretty damn good tune man. The riffs were pretty cool and the drums went well with the song. The vocals sounded great you can do some great death/black metal vocals. The only thing about this tune that I would fix is the mixing. It's not bad but it could be better. I would bring up the vocals in the mix so they can be heard more clearly. That's the main thing. The vocals sound awesome but they're pushed into the background too much. Maybe turn down the guitars a little bit as well. Well anyway man I really liked the tune.

Yeah i am a little lazy on recording songs. I don't check to make sure everything is perfect before we start to play. I really should do that mor often though, then maybe i would get more postitive feedback from people. I might re-record this later but for now it will just be a sitting duck. Also congrats on your Gold Track. It must be an amazing achievement for you. Although i have a double platinum track, but i never did like fruity loops much. I am definately alot better at making realy music with my voice and my guitar. Thanks for the review and thanks for being so assertive towards my music. Your an inspiration.

Not bad

The tune was pretty sweet. The guitar's weren't the best quality but they sounded good. The drums drums were pretty sweet. The actualy playing was kickass though it sounded like you were having trouble with the rhythm at parts. The lyrics were awesome and you did a pretty damn good job of singing them. If you could hit some higher notes they would have been perfect I think. Like do some King Diamond style vocals. Well anyway I liked the tune a lot keep it up man.

Thanks for the review! Indeed, the guitars were pretty untidy in places though I wrote and recorded the song all in about two hours so I didn't give myself much time to get to grips with the tempo.
I was most concerned with getting something really fast so I didn't worry too much about precision. Really pleased you liked the vocals as I've never tried singing that fast or aggressively before.
If I could sing stuff like King Diamond, I would be very happy indeed! :D

Nice riff

Looks like I missed reviewing this one. The riff was nice and heavy with the the drums going along nicely. That phaser was it? Was a bit too much though I think. Maybe back off on it a bit and it'd fit perfectly. Though it didn't sound bad. Well anyway cool tune.

Hmm

It wasn't too bad. The drums were a little boring I think they could have picked up the pace a lot. The bass sounded decent but was a bit hard to hear sometimes but that just might be because of my speakers. Overall it was pretty cool but could use some work to make it really good.

yeah, this is the version with bad drums... I peroidically go back to my old and pretty good songs to er-do them, and percussionistic was done basically to fammiliarize myself with some percussion things, since up to a point I had only been using the plainest default Kick, Snare, Clap, and hihat... XD

the problem is the really good versions I end up making of this song are too long or big for NG :'(

Not bad

It sounded pretty cool man. The rhythm was great but it got really repetitive. I did like the snare you were using too. Overall it wasn't bad but could use some more diversity.

Thanks for the review man! it's not very diverse 'cause I just basically put some random beat things together, while keeping it sounding good, and then built them up, and once I had everytyhing going I eliminated random parts... probably could've done something more melodic with this, and I still might...

and I was using like, every snare in FL....

Not bad at all. There is some clipping in it. You should try mixing it a little more quietly and not normalize it then throw on a multi-band compressor. The riffs were kick ass and the drum programming was great. Nice little jam you through together man.

Thanks man. Now that I've listened to it on here...its sounds like shit. I'll have to let you and dark teach me the ways...cause im pretty sure it didn't sound like this in Cubase. haha. Oh well, just a jam. I'll figure shit out eventually. I might make a 100 of these little tunes in the meantime.

Kickass

This is the first time I've heard somebody actually skratching on NG. The beat was great gave the song a nice flow to it. I really liked the kick. The synth sounded pretty sweet and fit the song well. Overall a really great track man.

Oh and that chick from Alias you're talking about do you mean Jennifer Garner?
