Oooooo

Pretty catchy man. Not bad at all though I do detest the sound of most synth guitars. Anyway this had a nice feel to it throughout and would sound great with a real guitar. If you'd like in my spare time I can learn and record the guitars if you can send me the FL work file. I'll do up the drums with my samples and even add some bass. What do you think? Anyway man pretty cool I'd like to hear it made into a full tune.

kilder responds:

one problem - i don't use fl

Damn...

You really took this into a comepletely different direction. I'm really glad I'm sending this around. The rhythm guitar was great very heavy and fit well over the drums. The lead is what suprised me a lot though. I've never quite heard you play this well before. Damn good job man. This just sounds so damn good without a doubt the best I've heard you play my friend.

If any guitarists read this I'd be more than happy to send you guys the backing track aswell.

DarKsidE555 responds:

You really think so? Oo Nice. Well, you're not the only one who can improve. ;)

I'm glad that especially you liked it. That was my intent you know. ;) So, thank you for the backing track. I could not done it without that.

Cheers and beers! \m/

Nice

Though a little quiet that's easily fixed. I love the samples you use EW is amazing I'm defiantely going to look into getting a version of it. My favorite aspect of this song has to be the percussion. It doesn't overpower the other instruments but it's very prominent. It really takes a turning point about halfway through which was a bit unexpected but I liked it. A great song indeed I enjoyed it very much.

DavidOrr responds:

Yea, I should have run this through a compressor to help with the volume flux. East West has some great sounds, I can't express my satisfaction enough with their Orchestral collection! Some other great collections by them are the Symphonic Choirs, and Storm Drum. Drum Kits from Hell is also a great product too.

Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it!

Wow

This is very unique indeed. I don't think I've ever listened to anything quite like it. The instruments sounded great and you definately had a variety of them. You really went all over the place with this song and I really liked it. Defiantely interesting to listen to since it changed so much I never got bored with it. Great job man really this is awesome.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

Damn

I can't believe I didn't review this sooner. This song fucking kicks ASS!!! The guitar was great and was mixed well with the drums. Nothign sticks out more than it should which is hard to get. The vocals were great whoever was doing them has a great growl.

Definately downloading this one man.

Nice

The vocals for this still make me laugh my ass off haha. I never was to big on vocals on Boss Battle themes so I guess I like this version the most. It had ok time to fight feel that most Boss theme's should have other than on occasion when something else is needed. Overall good job man I wish people would ask me to do this kind of stuff but hey oh well I'm sure it'll come eventually.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Man, they don't ask you, cause you would kick too much ass!! hahaha. Glad my vocals make you smile! Thanks for the review!\m/

Hmm

Like said before it'd be nice if there were drums. You should look into getting something like Acoustica Beatcraft you an download the demo at www.acoustica.com and it's quite simple to use. You soun dlike a decent player but the quality of your guitar is kind of bad since you just plug straight into your computer without any kind of direct box or something similar. Anyway I've spent most of this review going on about improving your audio quality so I'll get more to the song.

First off Amon Amarth kick ASS! It's nice to see somebody here cover one of their tunes. Any idea which tune you might do next?

Overall it wasn't too bad but could really use some drums. What gear are you using by the way?

blackmantis1 responds:

WEll thanks man nexy im going to be doing and soon teh world will cease to be... and death in fire and alot of others from vs. the world and fate of norns man. and ill look into beatcraft. Ill cover some pantera too PANTERA WAHHHHHHH thanks man

Nice

I thought I had already reviewed this but oh well I am now.

I really liked how you did this. It has a very erie sound to it like DavidOrr said. You played it very well and had a great tone. You did an amzing job on this my friend you should be proud. And sorry this wasn't much of a review it's pretty late and I need some sleep haha.

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
