I like it

The quality bugs me a bit but I tend to get over it pretty quickly. The high vocals had too much distortion on them I think but the low guttural vocals didn't sound too bad. The guitar could use some eqing and compression same as the bass but nothing too drastic. The drums weren't bad at all no complaints. The solo was a bit hard to hear because of the wah but that is easily fixed. Overall with some mixing/mastering this could be pretty fucking good. Not bad man.

I also have an strong urge to record a cover of this now. It always happens whenever I listen to this song. It's just so damn catchy.

darkkloud responds:

thanks alot man, you do some great shit, if you do a cover of it too, i cant wait to hear it. and as for the mastering, im not so good at that. i need someone to teach me how lol.

Wow

I really love the beginning to this man. That airraid siren was great. The overall beat to the song was great and really gets your blood going. The song is very lively and would make great backing music to a awesome fight scene. I really love this tune man you did an amazing job on it. Definate download and 5.

itsameyayo responds:

Cool! Thanks man! I took a lot longer to make this, and I'm not even sure this is the end yet, hehehe.

Thanks dude! I'll keep yah posted on future songs!

Nice

Awesome playing man sounded badass. The drums sounded awesome nice job mixing them. I really like your playing it reminds me of Jon Schaffer who is one of my favorite players. You did a great job on everything in this song. Glad to see your still kicking ass.

rocker206 responds:

Hey thanks man!

Nice

The samples sound pretty damn good man. The guitar sounds great I'm glad you finally figured out what you want your tone to be. The drums fit really well but you have the same problem I do with trying to get the kick to cut through the mix really well without clipping or overloading. The riffs were cool though so this was fun to listen to. Good job man.

Oh yeah and how are the vocals to Filth Rising coming along?

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Yeah, I guess I could tweak the drum track a little more. This is the equalized version. The kick stands out more, on my sheezy post. Glad you like it though.
I have the words written for Filth, probably get to them this Thursday, then I will send everything your way for a mastering session..hahaha.
Thanks for the review man!\m/

Nice

I loved the clean sections they really sounded awesome. You lose a bit of clarity on the distorted parts but you can defiantely make out what you're playing. Your playing was pretty damn good on this song. The vocals would have been better if you didn't record them at midnight haha bvut they turned out decent. Overall a great track and I can't wait for the longer version to be done.

Xenogenocide responds:

yea, the quality of the guitar has gone downhill because of a broken guitar cable :(
Now I can't wire my guitar through my sound effects pedal to my PC, I have to wire it directly to my PC, which is a bummer. On the other hand, clean guitars come out cleaner without the pedal which is a good thing :D
Hopefully when I get more time, I will improve and extend this song.

Anyways, thanks for your review; It's what I like to read so I can improve on certain aspects.

Very nice

It's nice to hear you do a song like this. You did a magnificent job with the cartoon feel. Like SoulStrings said it really puts an image in your mind.

The beginning sets in and I imagine a mouse sneeking around a house in the middle of the night ever so gently. Then when the strings hit he's been spotted by the family cat. After a few moments of seeing what the other will do the chase insues. The mouse dashes about the house with the cat not far behind ducking and weaving inbetween and under furniture and breaking vases and the like.

Then a moment of clarity in all the chaos as the mouse seems to lose the cat and spots his way out. A hole in the wall just across the room. As he goes for the hole the cat yet again catches a glimpse of the mouse and gives chase. The mouse is just a bit too quick however and dashes into the hole. The cat not being able to stop at the very end slams into the wall waking everybody up to come see that the cat has messed up their living room.

It's been a while since a song has put such a vivid image in my mind. It's actually nice to hear a song that really tells a story. You did a wonderful job on this my friend.

Well

I liked the vocals you definately can growl well. I'm not too sure about the rest of the song though. It's not really the song more the mixing that bugs me. I can barely hear the drums. The guitar is pretty scratchy but I get over that easily since you sound like you know how to play it haha. If you could work on the production quality of your tunes they'd really be awesome.

darkkloud responds:

wellthanks bro, i am deffinatley trying to work on th mastering of my music, i have a new song coming out in about a week or two, probly with someone elses vocals, but give it a listn, ill debugg the fuck out of this one.

Man

I wish I'd have listened to this sooner. Did you play this? It sounds like you did. I love the feeling you went for in this. I tend to enjoy listening to sad slower songs on piano. I agree with _Arbiter_ it could have used some strings.

It still sounds amazing though and I really enjoyed listening to it. Keep making music this good and improving and you can really go somewhere with your music.

Nice and heavy

I liked the solo at the end I wish you'd have kept going. There is only one thing wrong with this and that is I can't hear the kickdrum very well. Other than that kickass job man.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. I just wanted to make 50 seconds of something cool. I was really messing with my eq's on this one. I got it to sound great on "tinny" headphones. But play it on my stereo and its just SHIT. Goddamn I gotta find a universal eq that sounds good on anything that has any form of speakers. Hafta rock the world you know.heheh. I might do a whole shitload of little tunes just to find the eq that works. Plague NG's with them and bury my first submissions on another page. hahaha. Thanks for the review man.

Damn...

I nearly fell out of my chair. You guys did a great job on this one. One of the most original things I've ever heard in a long time haha.

cat-bastards responds:

speaking of it! You're loli! >:(

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
