Great

You did a great job with this newer version. The only thing I can really think to say that it's missing is a clean vocalist on that synth and slower section that starts at around 2:27. It's too bad your clean singing isn't that great. Anyway, let me know when you finish up your EP.

Goatchrist responds:

Thank you dude. Well, trust me - I've tried. It's not the power I'm lacking, it's the fucking intonation. I guess I could do some kind of Type O Negative-style singing, but I'm way too embarrassed to use it :P

I will let you know :)

Sweet!

Sounds quite badass. Much better than mine, haha. You have a much better ear than I do. Anyway, the playing was nice and melodic and kept me listening. The only advice I could probably give woul dbe to turn the guitars down ever so slightly, though that's really just a personal preference. Great job man.

Sonofkirk responds:

Thannnks ! Yes, the lead guitars are too loud, but like as said in the author's comment, I mixed it with headphones ... but I will fix it : ). Btw, yours kicks as too.
Thanks for the review !

...

I must have it! I've got to pick up a copy of Superior Drummer now. How is it running on your computer? Anyway man, cool shity, though nothing special yet.

Xenogenocide responds:

hey, I'll get it for you. ;)

As long as you pay me in pure gold! muwahaha

It runs pretty good actually, it gives you the option of running with a low amount of ram, so it has the potential to run faster than EZdrummer. It runs while taking up about 26mb on the ram counter in the bottom on the lowest settings, but around 1500mb with the highest.

Wow

You really went to town on this backing. There's a fuck-ton of alternate picking in here, haha. Overall it's a cool solo and you're playing sounds even cleaner than it did in the last one. Great job man.

Cool

Honestly man, you're soling has gotten a lot better than it used to be. The solo fit the tune well, and your mixing on this was a lot better than mine. I was too lazy I guess. Too bad you faded it out though. Did you really screw up that much? Anyway, keep it up.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks a lot, man. It was a bit tough to mix this, cause the instrumental was really centered.
I did screw up a lot. I tried sweeping into harmonized pinches. The idea was there.
Sadly, the practice wasn't.

Thanks for the review and vote, bro. On my way to check yours. \m/

Badass

Nice use of the whammy bar man. I wish mine didn't suck so much, haha. When I listened through a second and third time, I kept thinking it would have been cool had you messed with a pitch-shifter on it. Maybe it's just because I'm tired. Oh well, I really enjoyed it man.

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks man! I wish I had a pitch shifter in general...that would be sweet.

Nice

Overall the playing is great, and the solo is pretty well written. The one thing that would improve it though would be to tune your guitar. Other than that though I don't really have any complaints man, good job.

Nice

overall it sounds pretty fucking kickass man. The only thing I might change is the guitar tone. Nothing drastic, but maybe cut back the presence or the treble just a bit. When I first heard the guitars they sounded a little harsh to my ears. They weren't as bad during that slower breakdown-y riff at around :20, but during the faster parts it's a little too much. other than that little thing it's great. Everything was well written and the mix was nice. Keep it up man.

Dimoria responds:

Thank you so much man :) I think I have an idea on how to make the mix better. Just gona higher the mids a bit lower the high ends etc. So thx so much very helpful :)
Cheers.

Hahahaha

Funny shit man. You should do some power metal with those higher vocals. You also should have mixed the first set of vocals a bit louder (figured I had to leave something constructive).

AngelsDontKill responds:

Hahaha, thanks! Yeah, I think they should have been mixed/mastered a little better ... my fault.

Nice

Not bad at all. The playing sounded good and the drums were nice. It's been a while since I've heard someone still using beatcraft. Brings back memories, haha. As far the the guitar, it sounds pretty good on my speakers. But to help cut back on the problem I'll tell you that you can cut from 150hz and below and still have nice lows on your guitars.

If any flash author's want some custom music for their flash just let me know. I'd be more than happy to try and help you out.
