Fuck me

Been a while since I've heard something from you. This was fucking great. The lyrics and fantastic and I forgot how good your growls and screams were, haha. The only thing I can really say could use some improvement is the mixing. The guitars were a bit hard to make out in some sections with all of the vocals going. And the clean vocals got really drowned out.

Still, not nearly enough to take away from my enjoyment of the tune. Just figured I should add something constructive.

thank you sir ;) Yeah It was a bitch trying to mix all the instruments and vocals in this song... you pan something or change the slightest +dB and then one of those elements overpowers the rest of the song so I didn't really get into perfecting it. And plus I was super SMASHED when I put this together... lloll

Schleif rocked the shit in this man! I love the vocals. The only thing I can think that he could improve on is keeping a consistent distance from the mic. It seemed to vary quite a bit on some lines. Making some stand out less than they seemed like that should have. Other than that though, totally badass.

He just needs that nice vocal compression setting to even out everything, and it could slay more bodies than it already has. haha. Sounds pretty fucking good through my stereo. I really can't think of anything to complain about at the moment. The synths sound great and add to the tune quite well. Your tone fit the music really well and your playing was clean.

Who mixed this one? This is probably the best mix I've heard from you two. IN other Megaman covers you guys did it was never quite this nice. Hope to hear some more tunes from you guys soon.

Overall the tune is great, but I think that the lead tone was a little weak. Could have used a bit more drive. I think it would have made it sound smoother in the end.

Anyway, I'll say it again, it's nice to see you kicking around again.

Hey man, good to hear from you! And thanks for the review, and advice; you've recorded and posted a lot on here and I respect your opinion.

Finding the right balance for the lead tone and the lead volume was a constant wrestling match. I wanted to keep the gain high but not overbearing to make sure the fast notes still sounded clearly, and that the runs didn't get lost in gain saturation. I did double all the melody and leads, playing the on the neck pickup and then on the bridge pickup to thicken it up.

Sounds pretty badass man. I do somewhat agree with Bard about the vocals. Though I think changing them up slightly at the end would be enough to make it seem less repetitive. Maybe have the the first two words of the first two lines be more background vocals and have "the end" and "destroy you" really pop out. Also maybe layer another vocal track for the "fuck you all" parts. A nice low one to make it more brutal. Anyway, just my thoughts from a couple o flistens.

Honestly it's not a bad idea, but the mixing really screwed up the song for me. The drums sound really weak and overall thin. Your guitar tone isn't too bad though. You should do some reading on how to use eq and compression for your drums. I think it'd really help the song if you could fix them. Good luck man.

Not bad

The playing isn't bad and the recording is decent, but I didn't like the mixing much at all. The guitars tower over the drums too much. With some adjustments like bringing the guitars down some and maybe lowering the crash cymbals as well. Mostly just trying to even things out with the kick and snare. With better mixing I think this would kick ass. I'll also try giving the vocals a shot. I just need to finish something for Sorohanro.
